Sweet, cinnamony vegan French Toast! What better way to start off a Sunday morning (or any morning!) than with plant-based, egg-free french toast. We did a plant-based spin on this classic breakfast staple using Eggcitables!
The aroma of cinnamon, nutmeg, and vegan butter if the perfect way to start your day. I highly recommend you use cinnamon raisin bread but you can also use regular whole grain or sour dough.
2 Eggcitables eggs
1 tsp coconut sugar (or other sugar)
1 tsp cinnamon
½ tsp nutmeg
1 tbsp vegan butter
4 slices of cinnamon raisin bread
Vegan whipped cream
Make Eggcitables eggs according to instructions and servings (2 “eggs”). Mix in coconut sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
Heat vegan butter over medium-high heat until melted.
Soak pieces of bread in Eggcitables mixture for 10 sec on each side. Drip off excess mixture and cook in melted butter for 2-3 mins per side until desired brown.
Top with any optional toppings. Enjoy!
